Upcoming Meizu M1E car controlling feature: Report

The remote-control feature is said to work only with the Roewe RX5.

Meizu’s upcoming smartphone, which is expected to be named as Meizu M1E, is reportedly coming with a car-controlling feature. As per the report, Meizu M1E users will be able to unlock their car doors, control air-conditioning unit and also heat up seats using the smartphone like a remote control.

The report of GizmoChina is based on a post of a Weibo user. Sadly, the remote-control feature is said to work only with the Roewe RX5. Notably, Roewe owns a stake in Meizu. The Roewe RX5 was launched jointly by Chinese e-commerce website Alibaba and SAIC Motor at the Beijing Auto show earlier this year.

Meizu M1E is expected to be launched on August 10. As per earlier rumors, the Meizu smartphone will feature a curved dual display and dual cameras at the rear. The Meizu phone is expected to feature 5.5 inch full HD display with 1080p resolution, MediaTek octa core processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal memory, a 13 mega pixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front camera. It is also expected to run on 6.0 Marshmallow with the company’s Flyme UI on top of it and a 3,100 battery and mCharge feature which claims to charge the battery up to 90 per cent in just 1 hour.
