LG had announced two new smartphones, namely the LG K10 and the LG K7 during its CES 2016 event last week. Now a promotional video uploaded by LG Mobiles on YouTube has revealed another new phone of its K series, LG K4.
The teaser shows that LG K4 has a smaller foam factor as compared to K7 and K10 which come with 5 inch and 5.3 inch display respectively. This might be a hint that K4 may be a budget smartphone.
Apart from revealing that K4 is 4G enabled, the video does not reveal any specification of the device. However it shows some software features of K7 and K10 smartphones such as Gesture shot, Gesture interval shot, LG Quick Cover view, Tap and Shot and Flash for Selfie. LG K4 might have a 3G variant also, just like K7 and K10 smartphones.
The LG K10 features a 5.3-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display, Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and packs a 2,300 mAh battery. Its 3G variant houses a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor whereas in the 4G/LTE variant, there are three CPU options available – 1.2 GHz quad core, 1.3 GHz quad-core, and a 1.14 GHz octa-core.
The 3G variant of LG K10 flaunts an 8-megapixel rear camera while its 4G/LTE variant sports a 13-megapixel rear camera. The front facing camera will be either an 8-megapixel or a 5-megapixel Resolution depending on market (Country specific). Furthermore, the 3G and 4G variants of LG K10 will be launched in 1GB, 1.5GB, and 2GB RAM models. Also they will come in 8GB or 16GB internal storage variants. The smartphone measures 146.6 x 74.8 x 8.8 mm.
On the other hand, the LG K7 features a 5-inch FWVGA (854 x 480 pixel) On-cell Touch (3G)/In-cell Touch (4G/LTE) display, Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system, packs a 2125 mAh battery, and a 5-megapixel front camera. And again rest of the specifications varies depending upon the markets, the 3G variant of K7 powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, while the 4G/LTE variant houses a 1.1 GHz quad-core processor.
Its rear camera will be either of 8-megapixel or 5-megapixel resolution depending on market. The K7 also will come in 1.5GB and 1GB RAM variants as well as in 8GB and 16GB storage models. The 3G variant of K7 measures 143.6 x 72.5 x 9.05mm, while the 4G/LTE measures 143.6 x 72.5 x 8.9mm.
All the phones are expected to be launched in the global market in the coming weeks.
