Earlier in May this year when Nokia joined hands with Foxconn, it was quite clear that the Finnish company is planning to reenter the handset business again. Now a report on MyDrivers has claimed that Nokia is working on two Android based smartphones.
As per the report, one of the Nokia phone has a 5.2 inch screen while another will come with 5.5 inch screen. However, both are AMOLED screens and have 2K resolution. The website further claimed that the phones will come with upcoming Android Nougat but with Nokia’s own Z-launcher (a customized interface).
Furthermore, the report claimed that the phones will come with metal design and will be water and dust resistant for which they will be IP68 certified. As per the report, the phones may use Snapdragon 820.
Nokia sold its mobile phone business to Microsoft in 2014 after enduring losses in previous years. Under the agreement, it was barred from bringing out its phones and tablets till 2015 end.
Thus Nokia was widely expected to come out with its devices this year. Infact, many a Nokia devices were spotted in last few months. In September 2015, a device called Nokia C1 was spotted in the web. Concept images of Nokia N73 Rebirth was also spotted earlier this year.
