TVS Motor Company has launched the new race edition colour schemes for the Apache RTR 200 4V in India. The company will soon be commencing the dispatch for the bikes to the authorised dealership at a price tag of Rs 95,685 (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the carburettor unit and Rs 1.08 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the Fuel Injected variant, while the ABS model costs Rs 1.09 lakh (ex-showroom).
The RTR 200 4V now comes with an option of White-Red, Grey-Yellow, Red-Black and Matte Black-Red colour variants. The all-new racing-inspired graphics designed the spread to the bike’s engine guard, rear fenders and tank shoulders with the RTR badging.
It comes fitted with a 198cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, 4-valve, oil-cooled engine. The EFI version offers 21 PS and 18.1 Nm, while the carburettor model gives 20.5 PS and 18 Nm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed super-slick gearbox that is claimed to deliver the mileage of 38 kmpl and accelerates 0-60 kmph in just 3.95 sec.
Other than this, the machine rides on the Telescopic Forks at the front and a Moto Tube – mono shocker at the rear, which is supported by the double cradle split synchro STIFF frame. In terms of dimensions, the RTR measures, 2050 mm in length, 790 mm in width and 1105 mm height. The rider sits at a height of 800 mm on the machine, ground clearance and wheelbase of 180mm and 1353 mm respectively.
