To rival the Tata Nexon AMT, Maruti Suzuki has announced to launch three AMT variants of its Vitara Brezza. Starting with the price tag of Rs 8.54 Lakh (ex-showroom) for the VDi AMT, the SUV is also available in ZDI AMT and ZDI+ AMT at Rs 9.31 Lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 10.49 Lakh (ex-showroom) respectively.

Apart from the Auto Gear Shift, the brand has given a new makeover to the AMT trims on the exterior as well as on the interiors. The new Brezza features new alloy wheel design with a tint of a glossy black finish, the shoulders now get a new sportier look and the front grill comes in Chrome with the back garnishing. Further, on the interiors, all-black colour scheme and complementing accents are spotted.
As far as safety is concerned, the standard for all the new AMT trims, the Brezza comes with the ISOFIX child resistant system, high-speed warning alert, dual airbags, ABS Anti-lock Braking System with EBD (Electronic Brake Distribution), reverse parking Sensors and front seatbelt pre-tensioners.
The compact SUV is powered by a 1.2-liter turbocharged, 1248cc displacement, 4-cylinder DDiS 200 diesel engine. It generates 88 bhp of power at 4000 rpm with the peak torque 200 Nm at 1750 rpm. Mated to an automatic transmission the machine will deliver the mileage of 22 kmpl.
Meanwhile, Tata NexonAMTpetrol trim of the SUV is priced at Rs 9.41 (ex-showroom) lakh, while the diesel will be up for a grab of Rs 10.3 lakh (ex-showroom). It will be available with Nexon’s top-end XZA+ variant. It is powered by a 1.2-liter turbocharged, 1198cc displacement, 3-cylinder petrol engine. It generates 110 PS of power with the peak torque 170 Nm. While, the 1.5-liter turbocharged, 1497cc displacement, 4-cylinder diesel engine which is claimed to offer 110 PS of maximum power and 260 Nm of peak torque. Further, the former machine is promised with the mileage of 17.88 kmpl and later with 23.97 kmpl.
