Motorola has today shared the list of devices that will get to taste the latest Android 8.0 Oreo. The company, in a blog post, shared the list of smartphones that will be getting the latest Android update.
The list includes Moto Z, Moto Z Droid, Moto Z Force Droid, Moto Z Play, Moto Z Play Droid, Moto Z2 Play, Moto Z2 Force Edition, Moto X4, Moto G5, Moto G5 Plus, Moto G5S and Moto G5S Plus. However, the company didn’t mention the exact timeline for the rollout, the brand says that it will be available starting this fall. “We’re happy to confirm Android 8.0 Oreo will be joining our fleet of Motorola smartphones, starting this fall,” the company said in a blog post.
Google has already started rolling out the Android 8.0 Oreo update to its Pixel and Nexus lineup. The list includes Pixel, Pixel XL, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Nexus Player and Pixel C tablet. The search engine giant has already revealed that by the end of this year, hardware makers including Essential, General Mobile, HMD Global Home of Nokia Phones, Huawei, HTC, Kyocera, LG, Motorola, Samsung, Sharp, and Sony are scheduled to launch or upgrade devices to Android 8.0 Oreo. Further, Android Beta users will receive the update to the final version today and images are available to download and flash manually.
