Google has tried its level best to improve the Gmail application for iOS users time and again, offering them better functionality and utility, making their lives a lot easier. But just in case you do not like that the new Mailbox application for your iOS device is the solution. The newly launched application allows users to control their Gmail messages in a faster and better way, offering tighter control over email messages, unlike the native application. The application shows the number of unread and total email messages available in the user’s inbox.
While checking out the messages as News.com.au reports, when users want to see the message they can simply swipe across the message and choose to delete the message or if its of little importance they can decide to see or check out the message in a few hours, a day, week or even a month and after the selected time the message will reappear in the inbox.
The application is available at the Apple iTunes store but users cannot just use the application. The application can be installed on the device and as users do that they will be placed in a queue and once their turn comes they will receive a notification or email about their chance to use the application.
Sadly, the application only works with Gmail messages and no other email service as of now. Also, folders and labels that have been marked by users in their Gmail account will not be visible via the application.
