Techcom, an IT peripherals and consumer electronics provider, has entered into the Andhra Pradesh market with the launch of two new mobiles, the T35 and T65.
The devices come with a bouquet of pre-loaded multimedia features, catering to the user on the move. Both the handsets are dual SIM.
The bar styled T35 has a 4.6 cm LCD screen along with a 1.3 megapixels camera. Besides, it boasts a 3GP/MP4 video player, video recorder, 1500 mAh battery, GPRS, WAP, FM Radio and a torch.
Techcom T35 can also support up to 8GB of external memory.
On the other hand, T65 has a slightly upper hand when it comes to features. It comes with a 6.1 cm QVGA LCD screen and a 1.3 megapixel camera.
For entertainment, it has MP3 audio player, 3GP/Mp4 video player, and FM Radio. Other features are 1800 mAh battery, 3.5 mm Jack, Bluetooth and torch. It can support upto 16 GB of external memory.
Speaking at the event, Ajay Kedia, director, Techcom, said, “After receiving a fantastic response in Karnataka, we are looking to open up newer fronts in the markets of southern India. We see Andhra Pradesh as a market with immense potential and the move will help us in consolidating our presence in this part of the county. With deeper penetration of mobile telephony into semi-urban and rural areas, the market is slated to grow further.”
“We will complement this move by setting up a strong network of distributors with an aim of 30+ distributors and 30+ service centers, having at least one distributor and service center in each district, in addition to the already operational 20 distributors in Andhra Pradesh,” he added.
The company has a Band of seven entry and mid-level handsets, and adding to them are the T35 and T65 handsets.
