TCL had launched the TCL 560 and TCL 562 smartphone at Rs 7,999 and Rs 10,990 respectively in India in July this year. Now as per reports, the company is gearing up to launch a smartphone called TCL 950 in China on September 28. TCL has reportedly also sent the invitations for the September 28 event in China.
The invite however does not say anything about either the name or the specs of the device, but as per reports, it is expected to launch the TCL 950. TCL 950 was also spotted on the website of Chinese certification agency, TENAA sometime back.
As per the TENAA listing, the TCL 950 has a 5.5-inch full HD AMOLED display, a 2.15 GHz Snapdragon 820 processor and 4GB RAM. It offers 64GB of internal storage, 128GB expandable storage via a micro SD card and a 3,000 mAh battery. The phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and has gravity, proximity and light sensors. Besides, as per the listing, the phone is 153.9 mm tall and 6.9 mm thin and it weighs 165 grams. As per TENAA, the TCL 950 supports 900 MHz and 1800 MHz bands.
The TCL 950 was also spotted on the GFX Benchmarking website a few months ago as per which it has a 21-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera as well as an NFC chip. However, the TENAA listing has nothing about TCL 950’s cameras.
