TCL Corporation, Chinese Multinational, has announced to release a new smartphone with Iris Scanner in India on July 4. The company has sent out the media invites for the same. The smartphone will use an eye-biometric sensor, which will enable the user to unlock the smartphone with just a blink of an eye. The new smartphone will be launched in association Alcatel (one of the subsidiaries of TCL).
As of now company has not revealed any details on the technical specification of its upcoming smartphone. However, as per report the new smartphone is said to have a curved display and will be powered by a 1.1 GHz quad-core processor. Further, the smartphone would be a selfie-centric device.
TCL is not a new kid in the devices segment as it has been selling mobile phones, air conditioners, washing machines, refrigerators and small electrical appliances in over 170 countries in partnership with Alcatel. In India.
