TCL smartphone with 5.5 inch full HD AMOLED display, Android Marshmallow spotted

The TCL 950 was also spotted on the GFX Bencmarking website a few months ago.

Yesterday, TCL launched TCL 562 at Rs 10,999 in India. Now another TCL phone, named as TCl 950, has been spotted on the website of Chinese certification agency, TENAA.

As per the TENAA listing, the TCL 950 has a 5.5-inch full AMOLED display, a 2.15 GHz Snapdragon 820 processor and 4GB RAM. It offers 64GB of internal storage, 128GB expandable storage via a micro SD card and a 3,000 mAh battery. The phone runs on 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and has gravity, proximity and light sensors. Besides, as per the listing, the phone is 153.9 mm tall and 6.9 mm thin and it weighs 165 grams. As per TENAA, the TCL 950 supports 900 MHz and 1800 MHz bands.

The TCL 950 was also spotted on the GFX website a few months ago as per which it has a 21-megapixel rear camera and 8-megapixel front camera as well as an chip. However, the current TENAA listing has nothing about TCL 950’s cameras.

TCL has not revealed anything about the launch of the handset, but now that it has passed through TENAA and GFX, we can expect to launch in nearby time.

Just yesterday, TCL 562 was launched in India. It has a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display, 1.8 GHz octa-core Helio P10 (MT6755M) processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, and a 64GB micro SD card slot. The Android 6.0 Marshmallow based phone has 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. The TCL 562 smartphone comes fitted with a 2,960 mAh battery, which claims to offer up-to 12 hours of talk-time and 480 hours on on network. It also comes with fingerprint scanner that is embedded into the physical home button. Besides, the smartphone offers LTE, WiFi, 4.2, GPS, a MicroUSB 2.0 port, G-Sensor, Proximity sensor, E-compass, light sensor, hall switch and Hi-Fi Audio.
