TCL seems to be working on a smartphone with dual front and rear cameras. Actually a new TCL device with model no TCL 598 has been spotted on the website of Chinese certification agency, TENAA. The listing carries the specification list of the device along with an image that shows the device’s front and rear dual cameras.
As per the TENAA listing, the TCL smartphone has a 5.5-inch display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution, a 2.3 GHz deca-core Processor with MediaTek Helio X20 chipset, Mali-T880 GPU and 4GB RAM. It offers 64GB of internal storage, expandable memory up to 128GB. It has two front cameras of 8 Megapixel and 5 megapixel Resolution as well as a dual camera set up in the rear panel of two 13 megapixel cameras. The phone features a full metal body and comes with fingerprint sensor at the back.
The phone is listed with Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. The phone is 152.6 mm tall, 75.4 mm wide and 8.7 mm thin and it weighs 157 grams, according to the TENAA listing. As per the listing, the device will be available in Champagne gold and dark gray color variants. For connectivity, it offers WiFi, Bluetooth, 4G LTE and VOLTE.
However, this wouldn’t be the first phone to have four cameras. LG V20, which is set to be unveiled on September 6, is expected to have four cameras – two in the front and two in the back.
