TCL has announced a new smartphone “TCL 520′ in China yesterday at 1290 yuan, which is approximately Rs. 12,961. It will be available for purchase from September 30. The smartphone comes in black and white color versions.
The TCL 520 comes with 2.5D curved glass panel in its front and rear with metal frame. The smartphone features a 5-inch HD (720 x 1280pixels) display with pixel density of 294ppi. It is armed with 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor, which is paired with 3GB RAM, and 32GB of internal storage. The smartphone can hold up-to a 128 GB micro SD card. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and is backed up by a 2460 mAh battery.
The TCL 520 has a 13-megapixel shooter with f2.2 Aperture on its rear, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video-calling. The smartphone houses a fingerprint scanner, which is integrated on its rear panel. This smartphone support 4G network with VoLTE and has a thickness of 7.45 mm.
Just to recall, TCL entered the Indian market in July this year with TCL 560 smartphone, followed by the TCL 562 smartphone. In the same month, TCL announced its new range of Curve, Ultra HD and Full HD TV series for the Indian market. The new TVs include 43″ P1 Flat Ultra HD TV and the 48″ P1 Curved Full HD Smart TV, which were priced at Rs 31,990 and Rs 37,990 respectively. Also under TCL’s D2900 series two TVs were announced that include 32″ and 40″ Full HD Digital Televisions, which cost Rs 13,990 and 20,990 respectively.
