Tata Motors is expected to bring in the all-new Tata Tiago JTP (Jayem Tata Performance) during the festive season, as the hatchback is spotted in testing conditions on the roads of Tamil Nadu. The car will be manufactured in 50:50 collaboration with the Jayem Automotives, which is a high-performance design and technology company.

To recall, the Tata Tiago JTP was earlier unveiled at the 2018 Auto Expo, along with the Tigor JTP sedan, which may also hit the roads this festive season. The hatchback will share its engine with the Tata Nexon and will be powered by a 1.2-litre turbocharged, 3-cylinder petrol motor. It is expected to chunk the maximum power between 108 bhp to 110 bhp and 150 Nm of peak torque, with 5-speed manual gearbox.
In terms of cosmetic changes, based on the same design language, the JTP will feature new sportier look, with the new aerodynamic bumpers at the front, the hexagonal grille is now plated in Chrome with the JTP logo found on the right. On the hood, one will find the air vent for faster engine cooling, which is normally found on various luxury cars.
Further, the sides profile of the car is expected to remain same, while at the rear it will come with the Black spoiler matching the roof contrast and 15-inch diamond cut alloy wheels. As far as pricing is concerned, the Tata Tiago JTP is expected to price under Rs 6.5 Lakh (ex-showroom), while the Tigor JTP below the price tag of Rs 7.5 Lakh (ex-showroom).
