Tata Teleservices (TTL) today unveiled an integrated technology agnostic structure of the company. The company will reach out to customers with one common brand Tata Docomo cutting across the CDMA and GSM platform.
As a result of this Tata Docomo moves into the CDMA space and all Tata Indicom customers shall be migrated to Tata Docomo from tomorrow.
Deepak Gulati, executive president, mobility business, Tata Teleservices Limited, said “Our new strategy will unify our brands and unlock the synergies across the CDMA, GSM and 3G platforms. We are pleased to welcome our Tata Indicom customers into the Tata Docomo family, offering them a new world of telecom and lifestyle-impacting experiences,” he added.
From now onwards telecom consumers who are using Tata’s service will have a single point for access for customer’s services, retail touch points and consumer franchises across the country except Delhi under a single brand, Tata Docomo.
TTL’s 3500 retail outlets will also have a new look from tomorrow as their will be a thrust on experience zones will now cater to both CDMA and GSM customers. Through this move the company plans to create a strong consumer-facing organisation and enable their customers of all product lines to touch base with the company through a common interface.
