Symbian S60 ^3, the latest version of Nokia smartphone OS, is, according to its developer, the most innovative and advanced software of its type. Yet, Nokia delivered an update patch for three new phones (Nokia, C6, C7 and N8) running on the new operating system on its blog instead of making a formal announcement.
As per the information uploaded on the blog by Nokia, the new patch is meant to improve the software’s efficiency rather than for correcting flaws. Nokia hasn’t divulged further details regarding it.
This update is meant to enhance both quality and stability of the OS and adds functionality such as integrating Ovi Maps in emails for pictorially representing street addresses. For N8 users, the OS update includes a new edition of Mobile Office and three new games, which will come preinstalled in new phones.
