Swipe to launch a new flagship smartphone tomorrow

As of now Swipe has not revealed anything concrete about the upcoming phone.

Swipe Technologies is all set to release its latest smartphone tomorrow (August 9). Since last few days, the company is giving hints about the phone through various teasers through social media platforms.

Just a day ago the company released another teaser with a silhouette of the phone and a tag line: “Brace yourself as we prepare to take the tech world by storm. #2daystogo #StayKonnected ” and “And the countdown begins. #‎2daystogo‬ for a superior experience like never before.‪#‎StayKonnected‬”.

Earlier teasers comes with tag line “Ready for a technological elevation? We’ve got something exciting lined up for you. #StayKonnected” and “We all love it when we get something more than what we expect. Swipe will now give you that something more to feel good about. Stay tuned to know more. ‪#‎StayKonnected‬”.

If you go by the tag lines, we would expect this smartphone to have high end features. However, Swipe has not revealed anything concrete about the upcoming phone.

Swipe had launched its last smartphone in the month of June this year, called Swipe Elite Plus, at Rs 6,999. The Swipe Elite Plus has a 5-inch Sharp made IPS display with huge Full HD (1920x1080p) resolution. It is powered by the mid-range 1.5 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, which is paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The device also comes with 100GB of cloud storage. The Elite Plus has the based Freedom operating system and is backed up by a 3050 battery.

The Elite Plus flaunts a 13-megapixel shooter with LED flash on the back and an 8-megapixel selfie snapper in its front. Besides, the smartphone offers Dual SIM, LTE, WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. The handset has a thickness of 8.4mm and weighs around 131 grams.
