Swipe has today added a new member to its smartphone portfolio with the launch of Swipe Elite VR smartphone in India. The device comes with a price tag of Rs 4,499 and will be available exclusively from ShopClues starting from today. It comes in Black, White, Gold and Red colour options.
As the name suggests, the Elite VR comes bundled with a virtual reality headset. The company touts it to be the most affordable smartphone that supports VR. Coming to the specifications, the smartphone features a 5.5-inch HD IPS display with a screen Resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.
It is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6737 Processor along with Mali-T720 GPU. The phone is backed by a 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded via micro SD card slot. The phone runs on a dated Android 6.0 Marshmallow and is juiced up by a 3000mAh battery.

On the camera front, the device sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and there is a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter for selfies and video calling. On the connectivity front, it supports 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Dual-SIM and Micro USB port.
Apart from this, the company has also introduced a Konnect Star 2017, which is targeted at the first time users. The device comes with a price tag of Rs 3,333 and it sports a 4-inch display, is powered by a 1GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, 5-megapixel rear camera, 1.3-megapixel front camera, dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE. The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Indus OS running on top of it. The UI support 12 regional languages.
