Square Enix launches Final Fantasy XV

This game is equipped with real-time combat which separates it from its previous instalments and gives you a feeling of a cohesive fighting style with your three artificially intelligent companions.

The fifteenth edition of the famous Final Fantasy game series is out and is now available in the Indian subcontinent both offline and online at a price of Rs 3,499 on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

Created by Hironobu Sakaguchi, and developed and owned by Square Enix, Final Fantasy is an open-world action role-playing and is the 15th instalment in this franchise. For those players who have played every numbered entry of the game, one can see both reverence for the old and the courtship of the new game. To be honest, the game feels like it is a combination of reverence and courtship, but in its true form, it is more of duality or more like a conflict that affects each and every aspect of the game and threatens to weaken the bond between the four main protagonists of the game.

This game is equipped with real-time combat which separates it from its previous instalments and gives you a feeling of a cohesive fighting style with your three artificially intelligent companions. Together as a family, you will bond together over slashing and mutilating your enemies.

The open world of the game is huge, and its towering geographic features and plains that are wide-open give the game sense of scale. More than the fighting, this open world will get your attention. There is a huge amount of added realism such as while driving, you have to fuel-in your car, have a nap eat food which might feel a tad bit tiring, but gives you a sense of a real trip.

Both big and small, there are so many things, that have given this series a distinct flavour of its own and for all the numerous ways Final Fantasy XV, separates itself from its predecessor’s roots and it also pays homage to its lineage.
