Spice V801 with 5-inch display, Android Nougat launched in India at Rs 7999

Fingerprint sensor technology that provides the user with multiple features such as call via a click on fingerprint, instant access to favourite apps.

Spice,which now a part of Transsion Holdings,has today launched its affordablesmartphone known Spice V801 in India. Price at Rs 7,999, the smartphone is available for purchase from select retail stores in India starting from today and the brand is offering 1-year replacement warranty as well.

The Spice V801 features 5-inch display with a screen resolution of 720 x 1280 pixel along with 2.5D curved glass. It is powered by a 1.25 GHz quad-core MediaTek processor which is paired with 3GB RAM and Mali 720 GPU. The smartphone runs on 7.0 Nougat operating system.

The device comes with 16GB of internal storage, which is further expandable up to 32GB via card. The smartphone sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with aperturef/2.0 and flash, while for the front, there is an 8-megapixel shooter with features like Beauty Mode and Facemask. The Spice V801 packs a 2700 battery which claims to offer 144 hours of standby time.

The V801 equipped with a fingerprint sensor that provides the user with multiple gesture features such as call via aclickon the fingerprint scanner, instant access tofavouriteapps with customisation up to 5 fingerprints as personal shortcuts and access to private profiles and files. The Spice V801 comes with clone apps feature through which users can access two different social media accounts, including Whatsapp, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, at the same time.

On the connectivity front, the Spice V801 offers VoLTE, ViLTE, dual-SIM, dedicated micro SD card slot, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, micro USB port, and Bluetooth. The handset measures 145.5x72x8.3mm.
