Spice Retail has introduced a new large screen smartphone – Mettle Icon Mi-506 with 5-inch display priced at Rs 6999. This smartphone supports Dual-SIM configuration with 3G network support in one SIM module. As part of the Stellar Series, the Mettle Icon Mi-506 is powered by a dual-core mobile processor, runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and also enables Cloud Storage through Spice Cloud service.
Spice Stellar Mettle Icon Mi-506 features a 5-inch LCD display with 854×480 pixel resolution. Spice has powered it with a dual-core 1.3 Ghz mobile processor paired with 512 MB RAM. The Mettle Icon offers only 4 GB on-board storage out of which some would be reserved for system updates. Thankfully there is a Memory card slot to add more storage. Sporting a metallic finish bearing chassis, the Mettle Icon measures 9.6 mm thick.
At the rear, it has 8 Megapixel camera to capture images and in the front lies a 1.3 megapixel camera for video calls. Other features include Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi, FM Radio, and GPS with A-GPS support. Spice has packed 1800 mAh battery inside the Mettle Icon Mi-506.
Spice Stellar Mettle Icon Mi-506 will be available through retail stores and online at Rs 6999.
