Spice has launched another Firefox operating system based smartphone, named as Fire One Mi-FX 2. The handset costs Rs 2,799 and is available in Tangy Orange, Midnight Black, and Ash Silver colours from from the company’s e-commerce website – Saholic.
Spice had last year launched its first Firefox smartphone, the Spice Fire One Mi FX1.
Unlike the FX1, the new phone supports 3G networks and offers two SIM slots as well. However, it offers the same 3.5-inch HVGA (320×480 pixels) resolution LCD display as well as packs a 1GHz processor as its predecessor. It has a marginally better 2 megapixel rear camera and 1.3 megapixel front camera compared to the 1.3 MP rear and VGA front camera combination of FX1.
The Spice Fire One Mi FX2 has 512 MB internal storage apart from a 32 GB capacity based micro SD card slot. It offers a 1100 mAh battery – a downgrade from 1400 mAh battery of FX1.
ZTE was the first company to offer a Firefox smartphone, ZTE Open, way back in 2013. Last year, Intex, Alcatel and Zen too launched their Firefox smartphones.
