Sony Xperia Z2 tablet has been listed on Sony India’s website since couple of weeks. However, now Xperia Z2 tablet is quietly being offered through Infibeam website for Rs 49,990 as spotted by FoneArena. Sony Xperia Z2 tablet is a company’s flagship tablet featuring waterproof and dustproof capabilities. Sony has loaded the Android 4.4 KitKat at the heart above its user interface and powered the tablet with the latest quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 mobile processor.
Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet features a 10.1-inch TFT LCD display made with Sony’s own TRILUMINOS technology that promises better colour production. This display packs 1920×1200 pixel resolution natively and thereby offers capability to enjoy full HD content.
Sony has powered the Xperia Z2 tablet by the quad-core 2.3 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor paired with 3 GB RAM to drive the user interface. By default, the tablet offers 16 GB on-board storage. To add more storage, the tablet offers memory card slot.
Sony has placed 8.1 Megapixel camera at the back for imaging and comprises of the Exmor RS for mobile imaging sensor. This camera can be easily used to record HD videos. In the front is 2.2 megapixel HD camera with Exmor RS for mobile imaging sensor inside it.
Moreover, the Sony Xperia Z2 tablet is said to have water-resistance capability. Besides, the Xperia Z2 tablet is expected to have Android 4.4 KitKat operating system and a 6000 mAh battery to provide 11 hours of run time. The Sony Xperia Z2 tablet listed at Infibeam appears to be Wi-Fi only model.
