Sony India had announced the launch of its latest flagship smartphone, the Xperia Z1, in India just a couple of days back for Rs 44,900. But online shopping website Snapdeal has started selling the device and that too at a discounted price of Rs 42,900. Although not much but the discount is good considering it’s a brand new device which has just been made available.
The Sony Xperia Z1 is a water proof and dust proof smartphone that comes decorated IP55 & IP58 certification. The device features a 5 inch display with full HD 1920×1080 pixels resolution. The Xperia Z1 utilizes a 2.2 GHz Qualcomm MSM8974 quad core processor, 2 GB of RAM, and 16 GB onboard storage. The storage can be further expanded to up to 64 GB by a micro SD card.
Sony Xperia Z1 features Sony’s award-winning “G Lens” with a 27mm wide angle and F2.0 aperture. There is a 1/2.3 inch CMOS Exmor RS image sensor for mobile with 20.7 megapixel resolution and a BIONZ for mobile image processing engine.
It has a 2 megapixel front camera as well. PlayStation certified Sony Xperia Z1 also comes with DLNA, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, MHL, micro USB port, GLONASS, A-GPS, and Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity options.
