Sony is all set to bring its this year’s flagship device, the Xperia XZs, to the Indian soils. The company is all set to unveil the device during an event in New Delhi at 2PM. The smartphone is the successor of last year’s Xperia XZ smartphones and come loaded with some nifty features.
To recall, Sony Xperia XZs was introduced at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 trade show along with another flagship, Xperia XZ Premium and two mid-range smartphones namely Xperia XA1 and XA1 Ultra. The device boasts a metal unibody design, which similar to what we seen in Xperia XZ lineup.
The latest flagship device from Sony some interesting features. To start with, it comes with new Motion Eye camera system and it is the first smartphone to feature a memory stacked Exmor RS sensor with technologies usually only found on premium compact cameras. The smartphone sports a 19-megapixel rear camera which supports Super slow motion 960fps video capture, Predictive Capture, Anti-distortion shutter, Triple image sensing technology, predictive Hybrid Autofocus, 5-axis stabilisation and 4K video recording. For the front, there is 13-megapixel Exmor RS for mobile image sensor, 22mm wide angle lens, ISO6400 and Aperture f/2.2.
The Xperia XZs sports a 5.2-inch full HD display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 Processor along with Adreno 530 GPU. The phone is backed by a 4GB of RAM and comes in two 32GB and 64GB storage options.
The device is IP65/IP68 certified meaning that it is water and dust resistance. It runs on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and is juiced up a 2900mAh battery backup with Quick Charge 3.0 technology. On the connectivity, the device supports 4G, Bluetooth 4.2, A-GPS/GLONASS, Wi-Fi, NFC and USB Type C. The smartphone measures 146 x 72 x 8.1 mm and weighs 161 grams.
