Sony is reportedly working on the next-generation of its flagship device, the Xperia XZ3 Premium. The successor of Xperia XZ2 Premium has been leaked online revealing some key information.
The alleged Sony Xperia XZ3 Premium has appeared on what seems to be the UAProf from Sony’s website. The listing reveals a phone with model number H8616. Recently, a new Sony phone with model number H8416 was spotted on GFXBench, which was touted to Xperia XZ3. Hence, this model is reported to none other than Xperia XZ3 Premium.
The listing further reveals that the smartphone will bear a screen Resolution of 3480 x 1920 pixels. This simply means that it will feature a 18:9 or 19:9 aspect ratio. Further, the listing also reveals that the smartphone will run on Android 9.0 P. However, there is no to confirm that this model will be known as Xperia XZ3 Premium, so we suggest you take this report with a pinch of salt.
Previously, the GFXBench revealed some key specifications of the Xperia XZ3. To start with, the Xperia XZ3 will run on Android 9.0 P, which is yet to see a stable release. The phone will be backed by a 5.9-inch QHD+ display with a screen resolution of 2880 x 1440 pixels. This also means that it will be the first smartphone from Sony’s camp to feature such kind of display.
Further, the listing reveals that the phone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Processor along with Adreno 630 GPU. The phone is backed by a 6GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, which might be expandable in nature. On the imaging front, the phone might feature a 19-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, flash, face detection and 4K video recording. For the front, there might be a 13-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calling.
