Last month some images of Sony Xperia F8331 got leaked online. Now some alleged press renders of the Sony phone have been leaked online by leakster Steve Hemmerstoffer on his twitter account, @OnLeak. The phone is expected to be called as Xperia XR.
Sony is likely to launch the smartphone at the upcoming IFA 2016. Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin or IFA is an annual and one of the oldest industrial exhibitions. It is usually held in the month of September and this time it will be held in Berlin from September 2-7.
The press renders reveal the smartphone’s design and show the Xperia XR in blue color. Although no specifications were listed along with these leaked renders, as per the leak, device will measure 146.4 x 71.9 x 8.1 mm. In the renders, the Sony smartphone is seen with a USB Type-C port, a front camera and a rear camera with dual LED flash. There is a power button on the right side which is said to come equipped with a fingerprint sensor. The phone has curved sides, and a flat top and bottom.
Sony F8331 was found earlier on benchmarking website, GFXBench. The Sony phone is expected to feature a 5.1-inch full HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 2.1 GHz quad-core processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB of internal, 200GB expandable memory slot, Adreno 530 GPU and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system.
It is expected to come with a 23-megapixel Autofocus camera, a 13-megapixel front camera, 4G/LTE, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, WiFi and USB Type C.
