Sony Xperia T3 with 5.3-inch HD display announced

Sony has unveiled the new Xperia T3 with 5.3-inch HD TRILUMINOS display, quad-core 1.4 Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon mobile processor, and Android 4.4 KitKat.

Sony Mobile had announced a new large screen display bearing smartphone – Xperia T3. Sporting a large 5.3-inch HD TRILUMINOS display, the Xperia T3 runs 4.4 KitKat. Sony has not shared the price of the Xperia T3 but plans to make available across the globe by the end of July.

Sony Xperia T3 smartphone offers a large 5.3-inch HD TRILUMINOS display for mobile sporting 1280×720 pixel resolution. Powered by the BRAVIA Engine 2, the display pushes 277 pixels from inch. This large display bearing smartphone houses a quad-core 1.4 Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon mobile processor where the model number was not specified. Sony Mobile has paired the mobile chipset with 1 GB RAM and offers 8 GB on-board storage. Its memory card slot allows adding up to a 32 GB micro SD card.

Featuring the neat Omnibalance design, the Xperia T3 offers an 8 megapixel rear camera with Sony Exmor RS image sensor meant for mobiles. Just below that is a single LED flash. This camera is capable of capturing high quality images and also record full 1080p HD videos. Sony has thrown the gamut of camera centric functions such as HDR, Image Stabiliser, Pulse LED Flash, Red-eye reduction and more features. In the front rests a 1.1 megapixel camera with HD video call support.

The Xperia T3 smartphone offers LTE network support and offers WiFi as well as Miracast support between compatible devices. Other significant features added are Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, USB charging and GPS with support.

Sony Xperia T3 packs a 2500 battery and will be offered in White, Black and Purple colours.
