Sony has unveiled Xperia M5 and C5 Ultra smartphones in single and dual SIM variants. It is said to be made available in various markets from this month itself but no specific information about its roll out in India is known right now.
The Sony Xperia M5 has a 5 inch full HD display, 64 bit 2 GHz MediaTek Helio X10 octa core processor, 3 GB RAM, 16 GB internal memory and huge 2 TB expandable storage slot. The phone also offers 21.5 megapixel auto focus rear camera with Exmor RS sensor, 5X zoom, 4K video recording, and HDR for photos and videos features. In the front, the Xperia M5 offers a superb 13 megapixel with Sony Exmor sensor and image stabiliser feature.
The Sony Xperia M5 is a 4G enabled handset and has GPS with AGPS and GLONASS for navigation, Bluetooth 4.1, DLNA, NFC, micro USB 2.0, WiFi and WiFi Hotspot. It is water proof and dust proof as well. This Android Lollipop based smartphone measures 145 x 72 x 7.6 mm and has a 2600 mAh battery that claims to offer close to 12 hours of talktime.
The Sony Xperia C5 Ultra has a bigger 6 inch touchscreen with full HD (1920×1080 pixels) resolution. It has the 64 bit 1.7 GHz MediaTek MTK6752 octa core processor, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB internal memory and a 2 TB expandable storage slot.
Notably, the Xperia C5 Ultra has a 13 megapixel auto focus camera as well as a flash light both in the front as well as in the rear panel. Both of them have features like image stabiliser, 4x digital zoom, HDR for photos and videos, red eye reduction, geotagging etc.
The C5 Ultra also has 4G connectivity, WiFi, WiFi hotspot, micro USB 2.0 port, DLNA, NFC, Miracast, Bluetooth 4.1, FM radio, and a 3.5 mm jack. It has a 2930 mAh battery that claims to offer 14 hours and 29 minutes of talktime and has Android Lollipop operating system.
