Sony Mobile has formally announced the Xperia C3 smartphone for the Indian market. The smartphone offers a 5 megapixel front camera along with an LED flash to let users take clearer self portraits. Sony Xperia C3 arrives in Black, White and Mint colours and is priced at Rs 23,990.
Sony Xperia C3 is powered by a quad-core 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 mobile Chipset and 1 GB RAM. The Xperia C3 loaded with 8 GB on-board storage apart from a memory card slot for additional memory. The smartphone has a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with 720p (HD) resolution.
As we stated above, Xperia C3 has a 5 megapixel front camera with LED flash and the camera is capable of recording HD quality videos. This front facing camera can be used along with the new camera software to capture and enhance the self portraits. Sony has added several features in the camera App as well including Superior Auto mode that offers four different scenes for front camera and up to 36 scenes for the rear camera.
Portrait Retouch Version 2 brings quite a new set of tools to improve the photos. Apart from that, there is the usual Timeshift-Burst, Picture Effects, Movie Creator, Sweep Panorama, Vine and Social live. The Xperia C3 has 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and autofocus. This rear camera offers several features such as red-eye reduction, HDR and more powered by the Sony Exmor RS camera. One can even record full HD videos using the camera and that too in HDR mode.
The single SIM version of the Xperia C3 also offers fast 4G LTE network support while Dual SIM version supports 3G network enabled SIM card. Weighing 150 grams, the Xperia C3 offers Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, DLNA support and GPS with A-GPS. Sony has added a 2500 mAh battery and boasts of about 24 hours of talk time.
Sony will offer the Xperia C3 smartphone at Rs 23,990 MRP in Black, White and Mint colour options.
