Sony has debuted its latest set of noise cancelling overhead wireless headphones in India, called the WH-CH720N. The new headphones incorporate Dual Noise Sensor technology and Sony’s Integrated Processor V1 chip to provide noise cancelling. In addition, they have a lightweight design and up to 50 hours of battery life.

The WH-CH720N will be available across Sony retail stores (Sony Center and Sony Exclusive), www.ShopatSC.com portal, major electronic stores, and other e-commerce websites in India from 17th March 2023 onwards, for a price of Rs 9,990.

The over-ear headphones are ergonomically designed to be comfortable for even longer periods, as per Sony. They weigh 192g, and are claimed to be Sony’s lightest overhead wireless headphones with noise cancelling. The headphones have up to 50 hours of battery life with noise cancelling off and up to 35 hours with noise cancelling on. A 3-minute charge would give up to 1 hour of playback, claims the brand.

You get Processor V1 chip and Dual Noise Sensor technology for advanced noise cancelling. The adjustable Ambient Sound mode and Adaptive Sound control feature tailors sound to suit the environment around you. The headphones get Digital Sound Enhancement Engine (DSEE) as well.
Beamforming microphones with Precise Voice Pickup technology are positioned in a way so they pick up your voice more clearly and accurately in a range of environments. Then there’s a newly developed Wind Noise Reduction Structure around the microphones which reduces background noise. The WH-CH720N features a Multipoint connection, easy button operation, and can be controlled with your voice. There’s support for Swift Pair and Fast pair as well.
