Sony rolls out Android 7.0 Nougat update for Xperia XA in India

The latest update comes with a firmware version number 33.2.A.0.127 and is about 838.6 MB in size.

Sony has rolled out the latest Nougat update for its Xperia XA smartphone in India. Earlier, Sony announced the Android Nougat roll out for the Sony Xperia XA Ultra as well.
According to a Twitter user Pulkit Kamra, the latest update comes with a firmware version number 33.2.A.0.127 and is about 838.6 MB in size. The update is available for the version of the Xperia XA in India and single SIM version in other countries with model numbers F3111, F3113, and F3115.
Android Nougat brings in a bunch of new features including split-screen multitasking, more customisable quick settings, improved Google keyboard, enhanced notifications, and recent applications window. Further, the latest Android OS version also brings in ‘Double Tap’ on the Recent button to switch between the two most recent apps which come in very handy at times. For extended battery life, Android Nougat comes with ‘Doze on the go’ which will get activated even if your Nougat running device is in your pocket.
Talking about the key specifications of the device, it has 2 RAM, 16 GB of inbuilt memory, 200 GB expandable storage slot, Android Marshmallow operating system, Mediatek Helio P10 64 bit octa-core processor, a 2300 mAh battery promising up to two days of battery life, and a 5 inch display.
The Sony Xperia XA has a 13-megapixel rear camera that is armed with Exmor RS sensor, Hybrid auto focus and 5x zoom feature. It has an 8-megapixel snapper in the front which can capture images in low light and too in wide angle. The Sony Xperia XA has FM radio, connectivity and a host of sound enhancement technologies like Clear Audio+ and X Loud.
