Sony introduces two new PS4 bundles in India

Sony has already made the changes on its official website and also claims that most of the offline retailers and electronics stores have the same bundles in stock as well.

Sony recently announced its new PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro and both the consoles are expected to launch in November. Though the effect of this announcement soon reflected the PS4 prices. Both the 500GB and 1TB variants saw a straight Rs 5,000 price cut recently.

The 500GB PS4 is currently available for Rs 27,990 which was earlier available for Rs 32,990.

Post this, Sony has also introduced a couple of new bundles to further increase the sales and probably clear the stock. In the first bundle, which is named ‘Ultimate Player 1TB’ edition, you get a 1TB PS4 variant and an extra DualShock 4 controller with a couple of games – The Last of US Remastered and Driveclub. This bundle will cost you about Rs 34,990/-. The other bundle with the name ‘Players Mega Pack’ has the same two above mentioned discs and instead of an extra controller you get Uncharted 4 for a price of Rs 35,490.

Well, analysing both the bundles, the first bundle certainly offers more value for money as one can easily buy the Uncharted 4 for about Rs 2500 separately.

Sony has already made the changes on its official website and also claims that most of the offline retailers and electronics stores have the same bundles in stock as well.

Earlier this month, Sony announced that it will be launching the new PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro variant with the Slim variant being the same as the original PS4 apart from a slim design and the Pro variant being the one with updated internals such as better GPU, clock speed and other features.

PS4 Pro is all set to enter the market from November 10 onwards at a price of $399 which is roughly Rs 26,500 and will directly compete with Microsoft’s Xbox One S. We expect the actual Indian pricing be higher than the conversion price.

Also, with the official launch approaching, it won’t be surprising if Sony further discounts these bundles in near future.
