Sony India today launched a bunch of USB Type C charging devices including the new portable charger CP-SC10 which can charge all those smartphones, tablets and other portable devices having USB Type-C port. Designed for today’s mobile lifestyle, USB Type-C offers Fast charging and reversible port. The CP-SC10 has a capacity of 10,000 mAh and can charge two USB Type-C devices at a combines output of 6.0A.
Fortunately, it also supports pass through charging which allows users to charge their devices while charging the portable charger. The input in the CP-SC10 is at 3.0A which is also twice as fast as a normal USB-A portable charger. The Portable charger comes with a USB Type-C cable and also feature the famous four LED light indicator in which each light represents 25% of charge. These LED lights help users know as to how much charge is left in the portable charger.
Sony claims that the battery inside the portable charger is using Sony’s Hybrid Gel Technology which can deliver up to 1000 full charge cycles and also retain about 90% of capacity post 1000 charging mark. It can be charged both from a PC and from a wall adapter.
Another device which Sony India introduced was a USB Type C AC Adapter CP-AD3 which can charge the standard USB Type-C devices or it can also easily charge the above mentioned USB Type-C portable charger. The adapter comes with an output of 3.0A. Further, the company also introduced USB Type C – C Cable and USB Type C – Micro USB Cable.
The CP-SC10 portable charger is available in Grey and Gold, while the USB Type-C AC Adapter CP-AD3 is available in White. All the new products are available on various Sony centres, electronic stores and E-Commerce websites starting today. The CP-SC10 portable charger will sell at Rs 5,990 and the adapter will sell at Rs 2,390.
