Sony Ericsson’s arsenal had been quiet for some time, but not anymore. With the ongoing Mobile World Congress Sony Ericsson revealed another one of its much awaited smartphone the Xperia ARC.
With the type of features and its configuration it would not be wrong if it is denoted as the flagship product of the Xperia mobile phone range.
The Xperia Arc has a huge 4.2 inch LED back lit, capacitive touch based display, and the second generation Quqalcomm Snapdragon MSM8255 Processor clocked at 1GHz having a dedicated Adreno 205 graphics engine.
Performance is this device is expected to be good along with better battery backup as the new snapdragon is optimised for performance and low power consumption.
Based on Android’s V 2.3 (Gingerbread) this phone comes with Sony Ericsson’s time scape user interface and has a 8 Megapixel auto focus camera .
The company plans to ship this phone by the end of March 2011, but is keeping quiet about the price. However the phone is expected to hit the market with a price tag of around Rs 30,000 to Rs 35,000.
