From Moto E (2nd Gen) to Xiaomi's first tablet in India, this week witnessed the launch of several devices.

It has been a blockbuster week as far as new gadgets are concerned. While Motorola announced the second generation Moto E, Xiaomi responded with the successor of Redmi 1S. Besides few good smartphones and tablets were also launched. Read on to know more.

Motorola Moto E (2nd Generation) – Rs 6,999

The second generation Motorola Moto E has a 4.5 inch qHD IPS display, Lollipop operating system, quad-core 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 410 chipset, and 1 GB of RAM. The internal storage stands at 8 GB, to which another 32 GB can be added via a microSD card.

The handset has a primary camera of 5 megapixel resolution which has auto HDR, panorama, slow motion video recording, quick capture, flash, and HD video recording features. It has a VGA front camera too. The single SIM Moto E has 3G, GPS, WiFi, WiFi Hotspot, and 4.0. It has a 2390 battery, which Motorola claims is enough to last for up to 24 hours of mixed usage.

Micromax Bolt Q324 – Rs 3,990

The Micromax Bolt Q324 has a 4 inch TFT display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. The phone runs on Android KitKat, and has a quad-core 1.2 GHz processing unit which runs with 512 of RAM. The stands at 4 GB, to which another 32 GB can be added via a microSD card.

The Bolt offers a 2 megapixel rear camera besides which lies an LED flash light while in its front lies a VGA shooter. The Micromax Bolt Q324 is a phone and has GPS, WiFi, as well as Bluetooth 2.1. Its 1450 mAh battery claims to offer up to 5 hours of or 279 hours of standby.

InFocus M2 – Rs 4,999

US based, InFocus entered the Indian market this week with the InFocus M2 smartphone which has got a 4.2 inch HD LTPS display. LTPS, or low temperature poly-silicon, allows for more vividness and lower battery consumption. The InFocus M2 runs on Android KitKat operating system with the help of a quad-core 1.3 GHz processor and 1 GB of RAM.

The M2 has 8 GB of internal storage and 64 GB micro SD card slot. Notably, both its primary and secondary camera are of 8 megapixel resolution. The rear camera has exposure compensation, white balance, face recognition, flash, and video recording at 1080p at 30 fps. For connectivity, it offers two SIM card slots, 3G, GPS, WiFi, and Bluetooth 4.0. The handset has a 2010 mAh battery that claims to offer up to 8 hours of talk time or 280 hours of standby.

Karbonn Titanium Mach Two – Rs 9,715

The Karbonn Titanium Mach Two has a 5 inch IPS display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. This Android KitKat smartphone has a powerful octa-core 1.4 GHz processor and 1 GB RAM. It has 8 GB of in-built storage and you can use up to a 32 GB capacity based micro SD card in its expandable storage slot.

This smartphone, which is the successor of Karbonn Titanium Mach One, also has an 8 megapixel rear camera with Sony BSI sensor, flash light, dual SIM, 3G, GPS, WiFi, and Bluetooth 4.0. Its 1900 mAh battery claims to offer up to 7 hours of talk time or 250 hours of standby.

HTC Desire 820S – Rs 24,890

The HTC Desire 820s has a 5.5 inch TFT display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. The phone runs on Android KitKat, but has the 6th version of HTCs’ Sense UI. It has an octa-core 1.7 GHz processing unit which runs with 2 GB of RAM. The internal memory stands at 16 GB, to which another 32 GB can be added via a microSD card.

The successor to the wildly popular Redmi 1s, the Xiaomi Redmi 2 is finally got launched in India this week. It has a 4.7 inch IPS display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. The phone runs on Android KitKat, with MiUI 6.0 interface laid on top of it.

This week, Xiaomi launched its Mi Pad in India for Rs 12,999, making its entry into the Indian tablet market. This gaming tablet has a 7.9 inch IPS display with a resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels. The tablet runs on Android KitKat, and has a quad-core 2.2 GHz processor which runs with 2 GB of RAM. The internal memory stands at 16 GB, to which you can add another 128 GB via a microSD card.
