Simmtronics has launched its first quad core tablet in the Indian market with Xpad XQ1. The Android 4.1 based tablet comes with 1GHz quad core Processor coupled with 2GB of RAM, 16GB ROM (inbuilt memory) and quad core graphics processor.
The tablet features a 10.1 inch HD (1280×800) IPS display and 6000mAH battery with claimed 100 hours standby time. The tablet is a WiFi only model and supports 3G dongle.
In terms of ports the tablet gets HDMI and USB and also microSD card slot with support for up to 32GB memory card. The tablet comes with 2 Megapixel rear camera and a VGA camera in the front.
And for all these features Simmtronics has priced the tablet at MOP of Rs 13,999 which looks very attractive and also makes the tablet probably cheapest 10 inch quad core tablet.
The tablet also comes bundled with Tata Photon dongle for which you need to pay Rs 850 and will get 1GB data free each month for 3 months. Simmtronics is also offering free WiFi and over 5000 public WiFi hotspots including in outlets like Subway, McDonalds, Cafe Coffee day and Cocoberry.
