Japanese multinational corporation, Sharp has announced the launch of its latest smartphone in Taiwan, which is dubbed as Aquos Z2. The the smartphone is priced at 8890 New Taiwan Dollar (approximately Rs 18,809) and comes in Gold and Silver color options.
The Sharp Aquos Z2 has a metal unibody design and a 5.5-inch Full HD 2.5D curved glass display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is armed with a 2.4GHz deca-core MediaTek Helio X20 processor, which is clubbed with 4GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage, with option to expand storage via microSD card. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and is backed up by a 3000mAh non-removable battery with Fast charging support.
On the camera front, the Aquos Z2 flaunts a good 16-megapixel shooter with dual-LED flash, Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) on the back panel. In its front lies an 8-megapixel snapper with f/1.8 aperture, 82-degree Wide-Angle lens foe selfies and video chats. The smartphone houses a fingerprint scanner on the back panel, a USB Type C port and an IR blaster as well. This Dual SIM smartphone supports 4G/LTE network and comes with all basic connectivity options like WiFi, GPS, Bluethooth etc.
