HTC has started rolling out the much awaited HTC Sense 6.0 UI with Android 4.4 KitKat update for its One M7 smartphone. This new software update has been pushed over-the-air for the HTC One M7 smartphone and we recommend downloading it over WiFi network.
The Sense 6.0 UI with Android 4.4 KitKat update (software version 5.12.707.104) measures 670.63 MB. Among many improvements that the new Sense 6.0 user interface brings include the color coded themes and personalized font styles. Users get the Extreme Power Saving mode to make the best out of the phone’s battery.
Apart from that, the update brings improvements in the BlinkFeed interface by enabling smooth continuous scrolling. The Camera and Gallery apps also get updated with new interface. Overall, performance improvement is expected.
While many users might observe some issues initially post update installation, we recommend taking a backup of the phone, then doing a factory reset to finally perform a clean install of the software update over-the-air.
