Yesterday when the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 was launched in Africa, the company also showcased Samsung Z2 during the event there. Now a report has surface online which claims that Samsung is all set to launch the Samsung Z2 on August 26 in Kenya.
TechWeez has captured some images in the Samsung event which shows phone in a gold color variant with the front and back panels. The images show the Indian version of the Samsung Z2, preloaded with local applications like Jabong, Indiatimes, and OLX.
As we reported recently Samsung is also working on a third Tizen smartphone called Samsung Z2 and its alleged video was also leaked on YouTube.
The Samsung Z2 is said to be the first Tizen smartphone to be launched in African markets. The site further claims that Samsung will launch the device in at least 3 African countries at first, South Africa, Nigeria and Kenya. Later the company will be launching the device in countries like India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka.
Samsung Z2 with model number SM-Z200F will come with a 4-inch AMOLED display, quad core processor, 1GB of RAM, Tizen 3.0 OS and 2,000 mAh battery with a design that’s similar to the previous Tizen phones.
