Samsung has unveiled its new Android-powered Clamshell smartphone in China, which is named as Samsung W2017. As of now, there is no information on its pricing and availability. However, it is expected to come with hefty price tag of around CNY 20,000, which is approximately Rs 1,97,298.
Samsung W2017 has a metal unibody design and feature a 4.2-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) Super AMOLED internal and external display. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, which is paired with 4GB of RAM. The smartphone comes with 64GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system. It is backed up by a smaller 2,300mAh battery which supports fast and wireless charging.
On its camera front, Samsung W2017 flip phone has a 12-megapixel primary shooter with f/1.9 apertures and 4K video recording. On its front, it has 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies. The smartphone also house a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and has an Always On Display feature. Besides, this dual-SIM filp phone offers Samsung Pay, 4G LTE connectivity and comes with all basic connectivity functions. The handset measures 127.8 x 61.4 x 15.8mm and weighs 208 grams.
