At the InfoComm 2019 event in Orlando, Florida, Samsung has unveiled The Wall Luxury line of modular MicroLED screen TVs. The new TV lineup comes in a variety of sizes and ratios from 73-inches in 2K definition to 292-inches in 8K definition.
The successor to 219-inch ‘The Wall’ TV which was unveiled earlier this year offers a new user interface and experience. Even with a large display size, the new Samsung TVs feature minimal bezels amounting to just 30mm and can thus blend seamlessly into its surroundings without any disruption.
The self-emitting diodes inside MicroLED TVs offer a 100,000-hour lifetime and when the screen is not in use, Ambient Mode can display a variety of curated art from paintings, photographs and video art to customisable pictures with digital frames.
The Wall Luxury is also equipped with the AI picture quality engine and Quantum Processor Flex which deliver optimised picture quality scene-by-scene regardless of the original source format. The processor analyses image data to automatically calibrate the original lower Resolution content to align with the modular screen’s resolution.
Besides that, the new Wall Luxury TV comes with Quantum HDR technology and thus offers a brightness of 2,000 nits and a Refresh Rate of 120Hz. Samsung has partnered with Harman Luxury Audio or Steinway Lyngdorf to offer luxury sound systems on the Wall Luxury.
Speaking about the latest product, Samsung Electronics America Product Marketing VP, Mark Quiroz said “Throughout the last twelve months, we’ve closely monitored interior design and technology trends to shape the product planning and development of The Wall Luxury. We set out to create a product unlike anything else — matching the lifestyle and taste of those looking for the most exclusive and premium visual experiences in their homes”.
The Samsung Wall Luxury TV will be available from July 2019, though the price of the same hasn’t yet been revealed.
