Samsung is reportedly working on a successor of the Galaxy Tab S2 which is expected to called as Galaxy Tab S3. As per rumors the tablet is expected to be unveiled on September 1.
As per well known Russian journalist Eldar Murtazin Samsung will be releasing the Galaxy Tab S3 on September 1, i.e one month after the much anticipated Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is expected to hit the market.
The tablet is expected to come in 9.7-inch and 8 inch display variants. One of them recently surfaced on GFXBench, while the smaller Galaxy Tab S3 8.0 with model no SM-T719c was found on the website of Chinese certification agency TENAA.
As per the TENAA listing, Galaxy Tab S3 8.0 has an 8-inch AMOLED Display with 2048 x 1536 pixels resolution, 1.8 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 64-bit octa-core processor and 3GB RAM. Besides, it was listed with 32GB of internal storage, 128 GB expandable storage option, an 8 megapixel rear camera, a 2 megapixel front camera and a non removable 4,000 mAh battery. Galaxy Tab S3 8.0 comes with fingerprint sensor on the back and has a metal constructed body.
The tablet has a SIM card slot and supports 4G LTE and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. Connectivity options of the device include 4G-LTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS/A-GPS and a Micro USB 2.0 port. The dimensions of the tablet are 198.6 x 134.8 x 5.6 mm and it weighs 272 grams.
Apart from this leak, No other details about the Galaxy Tab S3 is available right now. However we will keep you posted as soon as we get more information on this tablet.
