Samsung is set to launch a new On Range smartphone in India. This was revealed after Amazon teased the phone on its site which also means that the phone will be an Amazon-exclusive.
The phone is expected to be the successor of Galaxy On Max which was launched in July and is likely to be priced at Rs 16,990. No other features are known about the upcoming phone but we can have a decent guess looking at its predecessor the On Max.
The On Max came with 5.7-inch FHD display, 4 GB of RAM and support for Samsung Pay Mini. it is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MTK P25 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM. The smartphone boasts 32GB of inbuilt storage that is expandable via microSD card up to a maximum of 256GB. Further, the smartphone runs on Samsung’s TouchWiz UI on the top of Android 7.0. Further, the smartphone is backed by a 3300 mAh battery. This one also features a fingerprint sensor.
However, others are saying that this could be a variant of Galaxy J7 Pro. J7 Pro comes with a metal body and 5.5-inch full HD (1280×1920 pixel) Super AMOLED display. It is powered by a 1.6GHz Octa-Core Exynos 7870 Processor with Mali T830 GPU, which is paired with 3GB RAM. The Galaxy J7 Pro comes with 64GB of internal memory, which can be further expandable up to 256GB via a micro SD card. The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and is backed by a 3,600 mAh battery.
On the camera front, Galaxy J7 Pro flaunts the same 13-megapixel camera in the rear and front also. The Galaxy J7 Pro measures 152.4 × 74.7 × 7.9 mm. The Galaxy J7 Pro also features a fingerprint sensor embedded under the physical home button.
