Samsung’s upcoming smartphone, the Galaxy Note III, will be launched on September 4, a website has now reported quoting its sources, almost a month after The Mobile Indian said the same.
As per the new report, Samsung will be hosting the launch event in Berlin, just a couple of day before the actual IFA event. Along with that Samsung is also being expected to announce the launch of its smart watch for Galaxy devices as well. Now with information coming in from multiple sources and different countries, it is likely that the date will remain sacrosanct, but Samsung is yet to confirm the same.
Samsung Galaxy Note III is expected to be released in two variants – one in 5.7-inch Super AMOLED Display and the other in 5.7-inch LCD display – for different markets.
Samsung will use different processors for both of the above mentioned variants. For one of the models, Samsung will use the eight-core Samsung Exynos 5 Octa 5410 mobile processer used in the Galaxy S4. For other model, Samsung will pack quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 mobile processor.
The Galaxy Note III will pack 2 GB RAM and will be offered with 16 GB and 32 GB on-board storage capacities. Of course, there will be a Memory card slot and the S Pen stylus.
Samsung will also pack the 13 Megapixel camera, the one used in Galaxy S4, and a full HD supporting front facing camera in Note III. As of now, there is no clarity on whether this device will run Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean or Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.
