Samsung is having a harrowing time with its latest flagship, the Note 7. It has already recalled the sold Note 7 units and had delayed launching it in other markets. At the same time the South Korean company has reportedly issued an update and advisories to protect its users and boost confidence.
Now Samsung has reportedly assured to start the replacement process in the US market. Following that, we can expect the company to launch the device in India.
Some other reports though claimed that the replacement might begin as soon as September 19 in South Korea.
For those who are not aware, Samsung has been trying hard to fix the Note 7 over heating and battery exploding issues. Several users reported that their Note 7 got exploded while charging. So severe was the issue that airlines worldwide had asked their passengers to not use the Note 7 onboard.
Meanwhile a report claimed that the recall may have cost Samsung more than $1 billion. The actual damage could be much higher as the Note 7 had received an irreparable damage to its reputation and many prospective buyers might now shy away from it which may boost the sales of its rivals, especially the recently launched Apple iPhone 7 Plus.
