Samsung SM-G5520 launching in India soon?

The Zauba listing indicates that Galaxy A3 (2017) smartphone will be launched in India in the coming days.

A Samsung smartphone with model number SM-G5520 has been found listed on Indian export, import website Zauba. As per reports, it could be the successor of Galaxy On series smartphones and might be launched as one of the Samsung Galaxy On series phones (2016). This means that the phone may get launched in India quite soon, though Samsung has not said anything about it yet.

As per the Zauba listing the Samsung SM-G5520 is carrying a screen of 5 inch and has a price tag of Rs 6,585. Sadly, apart from this, there’s no other information of specs on Zauba. About 4 units of Samsung SM-G5520 have been imported from China to India for testing.

Earlier today, Samsung’s other phone Samsung SM-G5510 was also spotted on the website of Chinese certification agency, TENAA. Reportedly, this is the other smartphone apart from SM-G5520 which is expected to be a one of the Samsung Galaxy On series phone.

As per the TENAA listing, the Samsung SM-G5510 smartphone has a 5-inch display with 720×1280 pixel resolution, a 1.4 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor and 2GB RAM. It offers 16GB and 128GB of internal storage, a 13 megapixel rear camera, a 5 megapixel front facing camera and a huge 2600 mAh battery. The device features full metal body and comes with fingerprint sensor at the back below the flash light.

The phone runs on 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system. The phone is 142.3 mm tall, 69.5 mm wide and 8.1 mm thin and it weighs 143 grams, according to the TENAA listing. The phone supports LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and among connectivity options. As per the listing, the device will be available in Gold color variant.
