Recently, a new Samsung smartphone with model number SM-G8850 was spotted online, which was considered tobe none other than Galaxy S9 Mini. Now, according to the latest leak, the smartphone will be named as Galaxy A8 Star. Samsung might also launch another smartphone with model number SM-8750 as Galaxy S8 Lite.
According to the leak, the Galaxy S8 Lite will bear model number SM-8750, while the Galaxy A8 Star will bear SM-8850 model number. Interestingly, Chinese regulatory site, TENAA, has updated the specifications of the SM-8850 and it now reveals that the smartphone will feature a 6.28-inch Super AMOLED Display with a screen resolution of 2220 x 1080 Pixel against the 5.8-inch screen, which was listed earlier.
Further, the listing reveals that the smartphone will feature dual rear cameras with a combination of 16-megapixel + 24-megapixel sensors. For the front, there will be a 24-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calling.
The smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 Processor and it will be backed by a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 256GB via micro SD card slot. The listing reveals that the smartphone will be backed by a 3,700mAh battery and it will run on Android 8.0 Oreo. The phone measures 162.4 x 77.0 x 7.55mm and weighs 188 grams.
