Samsung, the global consumer electronics and Smartphone brand, has started the roll out of the Windows Phone Tango upgrade for its Omnia W smartphone.
This information about this update is has not been shared by Samsung rather it has been shared by multiple users on various technology blogs.
This update brings ability to add media files or send MMS, export and import contacts to and from the phone and other performance improvements to the Windows phone device along with the change in the operating system version as well.
With this upgrade Samsung joins the Windows Tango upgrade bandwagon that has been started by Dell Venue.
But, the WiFi hotspot feature that is available in Lumia phones however will still remain to be a Nokia exclusive feature and will not be made available to any other device manufacturers.
To get this upgrade users will have to connect their Omnia W smartphones to the Zune software and follow the steps for upgrading the device manually.
