Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy Pro B7510 smartphone in India which is available for Rs 12,300.
The candy bar designed phone has a QWERTY keyboard along with a 2.8 inches touchscreen facility that has a Resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. The keypad is paired with four capacitive keys .Galaxy Pro measures 108mm x 66.7mm x 10.7mm and weighs just 103.4 grams.
Pro is based on the Android 2.2 Froyo operating system with a processor which runs at a speed of 800 MHz. It has an internal memory of 512 MB, but can be expanded up to 32 GB using microSD card. Galaxy Pro has a 3.15 Megapixel camera with auto focus which is capable of recording videos at 30 frames per second.With a 1350mAh battery, the handset maker claims that the phone has a Talk time of 660 minutes and 620 hours of standby.
It has IM conversations, quick email access, in addition to social networking websites including Facebook and Twitter. It also provides accessibility to download different books, music and games.
The 3G enabled phone has also WiFi (b/g/n) and GPRS facility.
The smartphone also features the TouchWiz user interface, Google Maps with Latitude, and A-GPS. There is an accelerometer, a digital compass and a proximity sensor.
Recently Samsung has said that it will be launching 11 new feature phones in India in coming two months. Samsung has an impressive kitty when it comes to smartphones including the Nexus S, Wave II, Galaxy Ace, and the Galaxy Tab. Recently, the handset maker has launched the Galaxy SII smartphone in India.
Other Galaxy smart phones in the market are: Galaxy Fit (3.3 inch screen), Ace (3.5 Inch screen), Pop (3.1 inch screen), and Galaxy SII (4.27 inch touchscreen).
